Shariq Us Sabah (b. November 2, 1993) is an Indian poet and author. He has published three poetry collections—The Subdued Sound (2013), Manifesto of a Lover (2014), and Fragments (2025). His writing is marked by lyrical restraint and an introspective approach to themes of love, memory, and personal transformation. His debut collection received the Literary Promise Award.

By profession, Shariq works in the public policy and development sector. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Rights Law from the National Law School of India University, Bengaluru, and is currently pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Development Studies. His policy writing and research have appeared in platforms such as Policy Circle, Countercurrents, South Asian Voices, The Diplomat, and SSRN.

Writing poetry remains a personal creative practice, pursued independently of his professional policy work.
